It's not every day you see a new coffee shop opening within arm's reach of a Starbucks and a Dunkin'. Yes, you read that right. 7 Brew has decided to set up shop right in the heart of a coffee battlefield.
One thing 7 Brew does differently is the way it serves you. It’s drive-thru only. When I drove in the place was buzzing with employees, all working diligently to keep the coffee flowing. They only serve coffee, so no pastries or sandwiches here.
For my first order, I decided to keep it simple with one of their originals - the Cinnamon Roll coffee. This iced coffee came with brown sugar, cinnamon, and white chocolate. It was a hot day, and an iced coffee seemed like the perfect choice.
The ordering process at 7 Brew is surprisingly smooth. Despite being a new establishment, they've streamlined their operations to ensure a quick and efficient service. You place your order with an employee armed with an iPad. By the time you reach the payment window, your drink is ready to go. It's a simple and fuss-free experience.
The Cinnamon Roll iced coffee was flavorful, well-balanced, and just the right amount of sweet. I was genuinely surprised by how good it was. It was definitely worth the $5 I paid for it.
My first experience at 7 Brew was so impressive that I found myself going back for more. This time, I decided to try their Seven Fizz. It's sparkling water infused with any flavor of your choice. I opted for watermelon with a dollop of cream. The drink was not only visually appealing but equally delightful in taste.
With two great drinks under my belt, I wanted to see if they could do it one more time. I went back the next day and tried a hot, Smooth Seven. It’s a coffee that comes with white chocolate and Irish cream. It was a dessert disguised as a coffee, and boy, was it good!
I can safely say that I like 7 Brew a latte. (Please don't groan!) The staff were friendly, the service was efficient, and the drinks were simply fantastic. Despite being new and competing with established brands, 7 Brew has managed to stand out.
It's still early for 7 Brew, but if their initial performance is anything to go by, they have a bright future ahead. I'm looking forward to seeing what this promising coffee shop will bring to the table next. Until then, I'll be sipping on my Smooth Seven, basking in the caffeinated bliss that 7 Brew offers.
